I ran a trial run/test on my new Seawater Pro Mini portable water maker. I made a couple of modifications to the original kit. These two modifications included adding an extension hose to enable the boost pump to reach the sea water, and adding an extension line to the fresh water output to enable it to reach my fresh water tank.
I put a video of this test on this website under the Tested Gear menu option. To add to this video, when switching from the sea water desalination process to the fresh water flush at the end: Dial the membrane pump down to low psi, turn both pumps off, reposition the boost pump into the fresh water bucket, turn on the boost pump, turn on the membrane pump, dial up to 9 gph psi. Doing these sequential steps will help keep air out of the lines and keep too much fresh water from being pushed through the membrane at too high psi.
